Hello Lovelies, 

We are so excited to see those of you who can come and celebrate with us in just a few weeks, on Sunday Oct 24. 

Here is some additional info that we hope will be helpful...

Attire

Our wedding is a casual affair and we want you to feel as comfortable on our farm as we do. Please choose attire that makes you happy and footwear that feels good, even if it's a wet day on the farm. 

Parking and Trolley

We’re asking those who can to please park at the Rockport Public School parking lot, at 26 Jerdens Lane, Rockport, MA. There will be a wonderful trolley to bring you from the parking lot across our picturesque lane and to our wedding site.

Please meet at the trolley at 12:30
It is approximately a 10 minute ride from the parking lot to our wedding ceremony.

It is also a beautiful 1/4 mile stroll from the school parking lot to our wedding site, and you can connect to Lane’s Farm Way easily by walking behind the schools, across the playground and baseball field, and just past the small stone wall. Take a right down the lane and in a few minutes you’ll be there, you can’t miss it!

We also have the ability to accommodate some vehicles on our site, so if it’s easier to drive up to our house and park please let us know, and we’ll make sure to have a spot ready for you! 

Ceremony

We hope to begin the short ceremony at 1 PM on Sunday afternoon by the relaxing pond that also served as the backdrop for our engagement. We’ll have chairs all set up facing the pond and please choose any seat you’d like. We are all family, and so grateful to be celebrating with you.   

At the pond we will have some light food and refreshments, a portable restroom, sunscreen, bug spray and an assortment of other items to add some color and fun to the day. 

After the ceremony let’s continue to celebrate together! 

Dinner

We’re keeping all the fun outside at the Farm! Join us after the ceremony for a family Style BBQ until the sun sets over the pond. Enjoy delicious food, lawn games, walking paths and plenty of space to just hang out and relax. We have a tent set up, but let’s keep an eye on the weather and dress for the weather, which obviously will be beautiful!

Social Distancing

We will try to wait for your cue if you want to be hugged or not. If we go in for a hug in our excitement of seeing you and you don't want a hug please know we won't be offended at all if you stop us. We want everyone to feel comfortable and to stay healthy during this event! You all are so important in our life, and represent the best of who we are individually and who we are becoming together. While we yearn for so many more people to join in this celebration with us, we are mindful of the current uncertain climate of the pandemic and we are respectful of each individual level of comfort when gathering. 

We are blessed with your presence because of how much we love you and because of the pillars of love, family, and friendship that you represent to us. We know how many people are cheering for us even if we can’t celebrate to the capacity that we had hoped, and we feel all the love you bring, and everyone you carry it for. Thank you!  

Gifts

Lastly, many have asked about gifts--the gift of knowing each of you is so precious to us, and having you come if you're able would be the ultimate honor for us! 

If you really want to do more, please consider a donation to ConquerCancer.org, or any charity that is meaningful to you, as it would be a special way to spread the goodness of the day. If you are thinning your gardens and have extra plants we would gratefully welcome them as we create our own gardens at our new home. That’s a lot of info…but the most important takeaway is that we love you…and we’re starting the ceremony at 3:15 ;)
